Final Tokyo Trip Report
The final destination was Pokemon Center Tokyo. It is located in Hamamatu-cho. Poke-Cen was the only place my son wanted to go. He was finally able to go there.
They only sell Pokemon merchandise there. Don’t you think it’s boring?
However, they had cute stuffed toys.
If your birthday is close, they will celebrate your birthday on the TV screen.
My son looked around and kept playing his 3DS. Hmm? I asked him what he was doing. He said “I’ didn’t come here to buy anything. I came to play ‘Fes mission game’ with people around here via infrared communication.” Aha, Really! There were many people playing DS around Poke-Cen.
Can you see the 3DS in his left hand in the picture? Whether walking or having his picture taken, he hardly put it down for a second. Its screen showed many “Mii” avataras of people carrying 3DS he passed by in Tokyo. That was a really funny picture.
At Haneda Airport, I didn’t see the Pokemon Jet this time. This is the picture I took in June.
I fell asleep right after boarding the plane. I didn’t get to see the spectacular view of Tokyo from the sky. It’s a shame! When the plane was going to land, my son had a terrible pain with his ears. It seemed that he had a blocked nose because of a cold and couldn’t control air pressure in his ears. The following day, he had a fever. The schedule was tight, but we enjoyed it very much.
My son loves Pokemon. He has loved Pokemon from the time he was in kindergarten. He hasn’t been interested in something like Power Rangers or vehicles at all. Even now he who is 12 years old loves Pokemon.
Every summer he buys an advance ticket for a movie Pokemon. It is attached free Pokemon goods such as a file or a bag, and a Pokemon gift coupon. At toy shop, he gets a Pokemon into DS via infrared communication with the coupon. Come summer vacation, he goes to see the movie with his father. His father seems to look forward to it too.
By the way, do you know the company engaged in Pokemon business?
It is The Pokemon Company! Wow “・・・・・・”<-I can’t express my feeling well in English. Pokemaniac must be happy if he can get a job with that company. Pokemon company engages in global business. Since my son was in elementary school, he has shared information with his friends and connect his DS and internet by WiFi, then played Pokemon battle and traded Pokemon with kids worldwide.
The other day he was watching YouTube and laughing. It seems that pokemon-crazy kids can understand Pokemon story even in foreign languages.
My son likes playing game. Nintendo 3DSLL was released recently, and we went for it. He was divided between 3DS and 3DSLL. 3DSLL is bigger than 3DS, but it seems to get eye strain. After all he bought 3DS in his savings because it looks easy to carry around. It cost 14,900yen (5000yen less expensive than 3DSLL) This is the third DS for him. Every time Nintendo released new one, he bought it.
Then, I ordered the software of ” Mario” from the company Megatips(stock ticker 6875 in Japan) for him. This company sends shareholders an shopping catalog every year. In Japan, there is a shareholder special benefit plan in addition to dividend.
The next morning my son was taking my picture by 3DS. I wonder why. I looked into his 3DS. Wow! Mii was made of my picture automatically. Mii is the avatar used in another Nintendo game Wii. He says my avatar looks like me. Really? I don’t think so.
Many people created various Mii and uploaded them. He was taking many Mii such as anime character of “One Piece” from the internet into 3DS by using QR cord. Kids go ahead of time!
